I’ve been reading away at this one for about a month now, and not because it wasn’t very good! Quite the opposite.
Michelle Elman hits the nail on the head so many times about relationships and boundaries- what’s healthy and what’s toxic? It’s made me question my own past behaviour, and the attitudes of others. It’s self-development but not preachy or cult-like.
Elman’s writing style is firm but friendly. This book is the no-shit taking best friend we all need (luckily, I have a few of those IRL too, thanks to checking my boundaries over the years).
I’m giving this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
It really confirmed a lot of my beliefs about boundaries and relationships, and given me lots to think about.
