Not one to break a habit of a lifetime, I read this masterpiece seven years after it was first released! Seven years! I really didn’t think that Faeries “were my thing”, but I was clearly wrong. They are very much, “my thing”.

When the human hunter, Fayre, kills a wolf, she becomes embroiled in the kind of situations that legends are made of. Every lie that she’s been told about the immortal faerie realm is burned by her passion for her captor, Tamlin.

The plotlines in places are very thin, with some insane holes tearing the story apart. But… I really enjoyed it for something a bit different from my usual type. It’s an easy read and entertaining. It wasn’t as smutty as I was lead to believe either; sense the disappointment in my tone!

I’m giving this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. No room for book snobbery here. It’s entertaining and definitely an escape from reality.
