Year of Yes – Shonda Rhimes

It may have taken me a while to finish this (yeah, thanks @imacelebrity) but I really enjoyed it.

The fangirling from me during this was immense! Shonda is a total powerhouse of a woman, and her memoir of her year of yes is inspirational, to say the least.

Reading about someone so driven and successful, but who doesn’t any longer sacrifice her personal life in order to do well at work, was a tonic. If Shonda Rhimes can sort out a work-life balance, so can I!

Whether you’re a Grey’s Anatomy obsessive, or someone who hasn’t heard of Shonda Rhimes, treat yourself to this book. You won’t be disappointed.
