The Shite Before Christmas – Serena Terry

I read this hilarious offering leading up to Christmas, and finished it on Christmas Day. It’s light hearted, funny and relatable, just what I needed for Christmas. It’s by no means a fluff read though- Terry does touch on some deeper topics and looks and the difficulties parents face leading up to Christmas.

The story follows Tara, a very pregnant mum of 3, soon to be 4, during December! Her own mum unexpectedly lands back home, her husband is acting oddly and her kids are, well, being kids. Let the chaos commence!

I’m really pleased I opted to read this for my Christmas read. It was super funny, so grab a copy quickly to read over the festive period.
