Sleep Tight focuses on the work of DC Rose Gifford, as she investigates the very unexplained death of a young woman. Not is all as it seems with the case and, before long, UCIT- a supernatural operations unit set up by the MET- gets involved.
This book had so much promise, but I was left feeling disappointed and like I had wasted my time by reading it. The plot was slow, the supernatural element didn’t hit the spot and the characters weren’t developed well. It was trying to be everything for everyone and it ended flat.
If you’re struggling to sleep at night, give this a go- it might send you over sooner than you’d think. I’m surprised I finished it, to be honest.
An underwhelming ⭐️⭐️ from me.
