Heartbreaking and unforgettable
The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah absolutely wrecked me, in the best possible way. This book is a heartbreak wrapped in stunning prose, a story that lingers long after the final page. I knew it would be emotional, but I wasn't prepared for just how deeply it would get under my skin.
What sets this apart is its focus on the women who resisted in their own quiet, courageous ways. The emotional depth is staggering, it's about love, loss, survival, and the extraordinary resilience of women in the face of unimaginable horror.
If you love historical fiction that makes you feel, this is a must-read.
