I read this years ago but wanted to revisit it again since going sober myself. I listened to this on Audible and had such a different understanding of Amy's troubles with alcohol since booting it out of my life.

The author describes the wind and wildness of Orkney alongside her vulnerabilities and troubles with addiction. It's a beautiful and inspiring book - living life on the edge, physically, emotionally and metaphorically.

I'm so pleased I revisited this gorgeous book.
