I've been reading obsessively since before I can remember, and I started sharing reviews because I wanted a space that felt real — no perfectly curated aesthetics, no spoiler-free tiptoeing around the good bits. Just genuine reactions from someone who genuinely loves books.

When I'm not reading, I'm probably talking about reading, buying more books, or drinking tea and thinking about which book to read next.

I believe a good review should feel like a conversation with a friend who's just finished the same book. No academic waffle, no pretending I didn't cry at that chapter — just the honest truth about what I thought.

I always flag spoilers clearly, and I try to capture the feeling of a book as much as the plot. Because sometimes the most important thing to know isn't what happens — it's how it made me feel.

I read across a lot of genres but I have a particular soft spot for cosy mysteries, emotional contemporary fiction, and fantasy that makes me want to live inside it.
