Powerful, uncomfortable and absolutely unmissable

I finished this book about a week ago but haven't had the headspace to write my review. I cried and laughed my way through Gordon's incredible memoir about her struggles with alcoholism.

Since I stopped drinking almost a year ago, I've really questioned how poor my relationship with booze was, and a lot of this book really resonated with me.

Bryony Gordon is brutally honest and doesn't hide anything that she did as a result of being alcohol dependent. It's an uncomfortable read in parts, but this was definitely down to some of the issues it raised for me and memories that had been buried very deep. Powerful stuff!

If you're tempted to give up booze, or are struggling with it, or even if you're just interested in the psychology around drinking, then Glorious Rock Bottom is well worth a read.
