A cosy small-town romance with plenty of charm and food-filled comfort, though a little familiar.
Laurie Gilmore's latest cosy romance delivers exactly what you'd expect, a charming small town, a sweet love story, and plenty of delicious food descriptions. But while it's a comforting read, it's also starting to feel a little too familiar.
The characters are likeable, and the setting is lovely, but the plot follows the same predictable beats as her previous books. If you're looking for an easy, feel-good read, this will do the trick, but don't expect any surprises.
Rating: 3/5 Book: The Strawberry Patch Pancake House, Laurie Gilmore
