A treasury of stories celebrating the wonders of winter, and the qualities within that warm our hearts through the long cold. This stunning book brings together a selection of wintery tales from all over the world - from North America to Siberia, Scotland, France, Russia and Norway. Written by award-winning author Dawn Casey and with beautifully detailed artwork by illustrator Zanna Goldhawk, this is a magical book to be treasured for generations to come.

Winter Tales by Dawn Casey is a cosy, comforting collection of short stories that's perfect for dipping into on cold days. I really enjoyed the variety of tales and how easy they were to read, as each one feels complete while still leaving you with that warm, wintry glow. What especially stood out was the range of cultures represented; it's lovely to see winter stories from around the world brought together in one book. This is a great choice for children, but just as enjoyable for adults who want something gentle, thoughtful and seasonal. The illustrations, by Zanna Goldhawk, are gorgeous too. A comforting read that's ideal for sharing or savouring slowly.
