The Thursday Murder Club

The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman is exactly the cosy crime delight I hoped it would be. I listened to the audiobook while my son read along in print, and we both adored it. The characters are wonderfully charming, the sort of people you wish lived down the road, and their friendship brings so much warmth to the story.

Osman balances humour and heart beautifully; we laughed out loud more than once, and there were plenty of moments that genuinely made us gasp. The mystery is clever without ever feeling heavy, and the pacing kept us both hooked right to the end.

A brilliant feel-good mystery with just the right sprinkle of surprises. Perfect for fans of witty, comforting crime.
