Rereading Wuthering Heights after quite a while has been such a fascinating experience. I always struggle a bit with novels that lack truly likeable characters, but Emily Bront?s haunting setting and lyrical prose more than make up for it.

The moors are almost a character in their own right, wild and raw, and perfectly reflecting the emotional intensity of the story.

It?s not a comforting read, but it?s a brilliant one. A storm of obsession, revenge and tragic love that lingers long after the last page.
