Buried Magic by TJ Green is an engaging read that blends fantasy with a touch of mystery. Green skillfully weaves a world rich in lore and populated with intriguing characters. The story follows Avery and a coven of witches who have to protect their town, White Haven, from dark magic.

What I Liked:

Unique World-building: Green's world is imaginative and distinct, with its own unique magic system and intriguing history.

Compelling Characters: The characters are well-developed and easy to connect with. Their motivations are clear, and their relationships feel genuine. Their use of magic and rituals feels genuine.

Intriguing Plot: The plot is full of twists and turns, keeping the reader hooked from beginning to end. The pacing is well-balanced, and the tension builds effectively.

Strong Writing: Green's prose is fluid and engaging, making the story easy to read and enjoy.

Minor Criticisms:

I know the book's ending is set up for a sequel, but it could've done with a little bit more closure.

Overall:

Buried Magic is a very good book that will appeal to fans of fantasy. It's a charming and enjoyable read with a well-developed world and compelling characters. Highly recommended.
